The Chattanooga Rifle Club has been in existence
since the early 1900’s. The CRC has been affiliated with the
NRA since 1927, and incorporated since 1947. The club has a long
and active history of promoting safety, marksmanship, and competitive
shooting activities, for both rifles and pistols, that are suitable
for all family members. Also, unlimited use of the most extensive
shooting range facilities in the area is afforded each member. Briefly,
the ranges include: A 100 yard competition range with 50 covered
firing points; 200, 300, and 500 yard high-power rifle range with
8 firing points; a plinking range; and a pistol range with 27covered
firing points. The club ranges are located on Hunter Road, off of
Tennessee State Highway 58, in Hamilton County.
